*Bill "Spaceman" Lee, who pitched for the Red Sox and the Montreal Expos in the 1970's, was one of the goofiest characters in baseball—and I mean that in a good way. When asked how he felt about drug testing, he famously replied, "I've tried just about all of them, but I wouldn't want to make it mandatory." He was also a Rastafarian. "Spaceman" developed his own version of the Eephus pitch: a very high, curving, very slow delivery that became known as his "Space Ball." I definitely enjoying watching him play the game, which made doing his portrait equally fun. The game definitely needs more Spacemen!
